In November 2014, my solo exhibition, Habitus, at Narek Galleries, explored walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain. I will post the catalogue essay in the Writing page. The the black lacework refers to Spanish lacework, swell as the fragility of culture. Two works, Eucalyptus Path and Chestnut Path, are the longest pieces of embroidered lace that I have made - both over three metres long. At the other endow the scale I made small images of some of the pilgrims along the way.
